Technorama GII Completion Ceremony (06/30/2008)
The new facility enables large structures
such as automobiles to be examined
On June 30, a completion ceremony for Technorama GII took place at TFRC and about 90 guests and staff members attended. Among the guests were Mr. Z. Qiang, the President of China Textile Academy, members of Nantong Development Ward, members of the Nantong City Government, including the Vice Mayor Mr. S. Z. Xin, as well as faculty members of several universities. From Toray Group, directors headed by Mr. C. Tanaka, Executive Vice President of Toray Industries, Inc. and staff members from related departments attended to celebrate the completion.
In his speech, Mr. Tanaka said that Toray Group expected TFRC to develop state-of-the-art fibers and textiles. Mr. Xin also expressed his expectations regarding TFRC. Following the completion ceremony, all the participants planted commemorative trees to reconfirm their commitment towards developing new technologies and products.
