Mr. Y.K. Lee, President of Toray Saehan Inc. (TSI), received the Presidential Award as an exemplary taxpayer from Mr. J. H. Yoon, Minister of Strategy and Finance on behalf of the Korean President at the 43rd Taxpayers’ Day ceremony, held on March 3 at COEX in Seoul.

TSI received this award as the company remains in surplus due to its exemplary management and expansion in exports. Furthermore, TSI made significant contributions with respect to various tax duties and fair trading rules to show its excellent attitude as a taxpayer in helping to promote a healthy and fair environment for tax payment.

Excellent taxpayers are rewarded with a three-year exemption from the tax audit, thereby resulting in enhance company reliability and improve efficiency of operations relating to tax payment.

Exemplary taxpayers are selected through strict screening and evaluation processes that consider not only a sincere tax payment but also a wide range of management activities.
