Time Spent with Children (Held On 05/27/2007)

Majority of our readers will agree with me that the time spent together with children is most beneficial and is so pleasant. In Czech Republic the majority of young mothers return to work very soon after having children, so families are rarely together. The TTCE yearly plan for “welfare activities” covers this kind of social activity as well and already being popular.

A traditional “Children’s Day” takes place in the company compound. It is mainly a sports oriented day for the children of all ages from the little ones to the over 10 year olds. Future champions take the competitions very seriously, as their parents do. But, of course, all it is a game which is run in a friendly and familiar atmosphere and enables all our employees to be together.

Another chance to spent a day together is the bus trip to some bigger city in and around Prostejov, our town, with a visit to the Zoo. Also this activity is a popular destination and bus is always fully occupied by our employees and their children.

Social contacts and relationships are very important, and, of course, part of the day is also like a “free education” for our future generations.

The success of these two weekend days strongly depends on the weather. This time both days were fine and sunny which raises our efforts and enables our employees to get together out of the usual daily working hours.
