Cooperation with Schools

Students repairing simple parts

A part of the donation of our residue taffeta fabric to the local basic schools and children’s cultural clubs, where children and teachers use it mainly for costumes and decoration for school theatre, we also cooperate with the secondary schools and universities located in Prostejov region.

The schools contact us not only for excursions of their students to our factory, but also for individual help with the diploma work and study visits during the “work experience” mainly during the school holidays. Students are allocated to a certain department, where under a tutor’s supervision are trained at his/her profession.

University students during the short term collect information for their bachelor diploma. Apprentices technical schools spend 14 days together with TTCE staff working in the real situation at the operating and maintaining the machines.

We are aware of the fact that it is not an easy activity. Tutors (and TTCE) are responsible mainly for their health protection and any injury, of course “loose of time”. But we wish to hand over as much knowledge as possible in this short amount of time. On the other hand, we think that some of these young people will be our future employees!

This is our contribution to a partnership in the local organization in our region, to the “Toray Corporate mission”!
