J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge® Run in Frankfurt (Jun. 9, 2010)

TIEU runners (centre) racing through the streets of Frankfurt
On the 9th of June, TIEU participated again in the famous J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge® run in Frankfurt. This year, 12 sportive TIEU staff joined the run, which started at 7:30p.m. TIEU has participated every year since 2002!
The 5.6km team road race closed registration with 72,741 entrants from 2,752 companies. At this time, this is the largest road race in the world for 2010!
Participants in the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge® represent all industry segments and travel to Frankfurt from more than 300 different cities. Two-thirds of the participants are based in Frankfurt and the Rhine-Main region and one-third (nearly 25,000) travel to Frankfurt from all across Germany.
J.P. Morgan will make a donation for each of the 72,741 entries. These funds will benefit various programs for disabled athletes in numerous sports throughout Germany.
The motto of the run is “The friendly competition” and it describes the spirit of the competition perfectly: training together as a company before the Corporate Challenge®, then successfully completing the run together and celebrating together with colleagues after the race.
We always represent Toray well and were even mentioned several times in the radio broadcast during the run! Thanks to Maurice and Michael who organize the run every year, and thanks to Toray Industries (H.K.) Ltd. (THK) for the nice Toray shirts, which we really appreciate and wear proudly. We hope for your continuous support and for even more sportive colleagues next year!
