Selected for Printing Posters of Toyako Summit (Held On 02/01/2008)

Toray Waterless Plate* has been increasingly garnering attention thanks to its capability to eliminate VOCs at printing facilities. Because that plate is one of the most environmentally friendly printing materials in the world, it has been selected as the official printing plate for printing posters of the Toyako Summit, which will be held from July 7 to 9 at Toyako in Hokkaido. Waterless printing will be widely publicized because all of the materials printed will have the “Butterfly Logo” that certifies they were printed with waterless plate printers.

With the summit as an opportunity, Graphic Systems Department plans to accelerate sales of the waterless plate to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of the Environment. The Graphic Systems Department is keen to increase the amount of inhouse materials printed by waterless plate such as sales promotion tools and packages of products.
