- Q1. What does your company do?
- TIAM’s role is to promote and sell Toray Group products ranging from textiles, plastics, resin, fibers, chemicals, graphics & medical to the US companies.

- Q2. What does your department/section do and what work are you in charge of?
- I am a Sales Manager in the Textile Department. I help to create, maintain and locate new business for Toray Group fabrics from all over the world; for a variety of apparel markets.

- Q3. What kind of job do you mainly put a lot of effort into?
- I put a lot of effort into creating a balance between our customer’s needs and what is suitable for Toray’s business, so that we can create mutually beneficial business.

- Q4. When do you feel rewarded at work?
- It is very exciting when you walk down the street and see someone wearing a jacket that you were involved in the development of. - Something that took months of coordinated effort from so many different people.

- Q5. What was your most impressive work?
- I have been the most satisfied with my job when I have been about to work together with colleagues throughout the Toray Group. To create new business, build partnerships and strong relationships. I think that my most impressive work is the building of these relationships. I have met and worked with so many excellent people within the Toray Group.

- Q6. What is it that you put a lot of effort into in your personal life?
- I am very lucky to live in New York City. It gives me the opportunity to see and do so many things. This time of year, my favorite is watching and rooting for The New York Mets Baseball team.
