  1. Q1. What does your company do?
    TPM produces ABS resin which consists of general purpose grade (GP) and specialty grade for example high heat, painting and flame retardant grades.
  2. Q2. What does your department/section do and what work are you in charge of?
    I'm working in the Technology Centre under the Production Technology Group (PTG) which is responsible for conducting process improvement, testing the suitability of new materials to be used in the process and trouble shooting of process abnormalities. Currently, I'm involved in the establishment of a new process to cater for the global plastic market demand.
  3. Q3. What kind of job do you mainly put a lot of effort into?
    A lot of effort was put into this new process due to a lot of studies and testing needed to be conducted in order to ensure it is applicable and cost efficient.
  4. Q4. When do you feel rewarded at work?
    When the testing results come out as expected, you will definitely notice a smile on my face. I am just counting the days for the new process to be implemented and can increase the profit of our company.
  5. Q5. What was your most impressive work?
    For myself, to be able to be involved from the initial stage of lab studies until the setting up of the pilot plant for the new process, I felt that it is an experience that I would never forget especially the time spent during the initial stage with my counterpart. Continuing studies and testing results that conducted hopefully will be able to be applicable while establishing and implementation in the commercial plant at the final stage.
  6. Q6. What is it that you put a lot of effort into in your personal life?
    I'm now into the activities of customizing the body kits and improving the performance of my Honda Civic. I'm also currently looking forward to joining my favorite Honda Civic Club in order to share ideas on car customizing and tuning. I hope I will be able to participate in the tour around my country with my club and my lovely car. I will be really satisfied the day I can own the latest model of the 'Honda Civic Type R'.
