  1. Q1. What does your company do?
    TML supervises 7 plants and 1 joint venture company with the key businesses of polyester fibre, polyester film, textile and plastics (ABS/PBT) resin.
  2. Q2. What does your department/section do and what work are you in charge of?
    TML Information System Division support Toray Malaysia Group’s business operations through business applications development & support, hardware & infrastructure deployment, planning & implementation of Information System activities which are aligned with division’s direction and policies. Currently, my job responsibility is to manage and supervise a team to develop & implement IT projects.
  3. Q3. What kind of job do you mainly put a lot of effort into?
    I have put in much effort to study and enhance the system as to meet rapid change of business requirements and to improve user’s daily operations.
  4. Q4. When do you feel rewarded at work?
    The most head aching part of Information Technology is to face constant change of business requirements and multiple users’ problems. But solving each user’s problems makes me feel rewarded and satisfied in the end.
  5. Q5. What was your most impressive work?
    I was part of the project team that developed and implemented sales eBusiness system for Penfabric Sdn. Berhad textile group. Thanks to the great efforts of my project team, I also managed to lead and build the 2nd eBusiness system for Film Division of Penfibre Sdn. Berhad. Currently, both systems are used extensively by both internal & external users (agents & customers).
  6. Q6. What is it that you put a lot of effort into in your personal life?
    I believe through continuously enhancing knowledge and know-how the chances of success in the future will increase. No matter how many failures and disappointments, I will never give up and all I need is another chance to take part. I strongly believe all efforts and courage will definitely add value to my life.
