  1. Q1. What does your company do?
    TTCE currently produces 2 main items belonging to Fibers and Textiles segment. Since 1999 we have been manufacturing 100% polyester lining and in 2006 we have diversified our activities by production of 100% PAD fabric for automobile airbags.
  2. Q2. What does your department/section do and what work are you in charge of?
    Main goal of HR Section is to have the right people in the necessary positions at the right time. In order to reach this goal we plan, recruit, train and develop, evaluate and effectively allocate our most precious, but often not so easily manageable resource – our employees.
  3. Q3. What kind of job do you mainly put a lot of effort into?
    Currently our Section is very busy with recruiting new employees due to two reasons. Firstly we have launched a new project in 2007. Secondly the decrease in unemployment in our region makes finding new employees more difficult than in previous years.
  4. Q4. When do you feel rewarded at work?
    I feel rewarded when I see that our company results (quality, quantity, P/L) are improving also thanks to the efforts of employees which we helped to select, train and develop.
  5. Q5. What was your most impressive work?
    This year TTCE is facing difficult business conditions with increasing prices of raw materials and energy sources combined with economic growth of the Czech Republic leading to unfavourable developments in the currency exchange rate and decrease of unemployment ratio. Our ability to face these conditions and still be able to secure human resources for our activities is important achievement that HR Section is contributing to.
  6. Q6. What is it that you put a lot of effort into in your personal life?
    For the past 4 years I am quite busy in my private life, as I have two small daughters. It is not easy to combine my professional duties with my new role as a father, while still keeping my hobbies like sports and music to some extent. It would be impossible without the continuous support of my wife and my family but also the understanding of the company.
