1. Q1. What does your company do?

   TIEU is Toray´s European headquarter, a trading house operating from Neu-Isenburg, Germany. We are distributing all kinds of Toray products.

2. Q2. What does your department/section do and what work are you in charge of?

   My department produces sports and fashion garment, such as ski/outdoor jackets and pants. I am working as a sales person at the Garment Department, thus in charge of approaching new customers, increasing business with existing customers as well as developing new garment in cooperation with customers.

3. Q3. What kind of job do you mainly put a lot of effort into?

   I am in direct contact with customers during the sampling and production, taking care of the production schedule, price issues and finding solutions in case of problems. Furthermore I am responsible for arranging all items that are needed in order to produce our product.

4. Q4. When do you feel rewarded at work?

   I feel rewarded when our team manages to satisfy customers demands by delivering high quality products in time. For me it is always a success once the decisions we have made as a team and the solutions we have found are turning out to be successful.

5. Q5. What was your most impressive work?

   We’ve developed a new trend by creating fashion garment with sportive features and therefore created a new field which turns out to be a great success and potential business. It is very impressive seeing the garment finally hanging in our customers’ shops.

6. Q6. What is it that you put a lot of effort into in your personal life?

   Sports has always been an important part of my life because this is where I can relax the most. I like outdoor sports such as skiing, hiking, running, beach volleyball. I also love to travel since I am very interested in other cultures and people with a different way of thinking.
