1. Q1. What does your company do?

   Starting out with a rayon production in 1926, the company runs wide range of business operations from basic materials to processed products, and continues to expand its business.

2. Q2. What does your department/section do and what work are you in charge of?

   My department sells women’s and men’s fashion textile to domestic and international clients. My main responsibility is exporting to top brand names mainly in Europe.

3. Q3. What kind of job do you mainly put a lot of effort into?

   I mainly put effort into developing new fabrics. It is very difficult but exciting to discuss with customer what will be the next trend and create something special which can only be made in Japan.

4. Q4. When do you feel rewarded at work?

   It is very exciting to see our fabrics used in big name brands in overseas and receive many orders from domestic customers impressed by seeing them. I feel like working even harder for the next project.

5. Q5. What was your most impressive work?

   I sell “Made in Japan” fashion textiles to overseas clients. It is exciting when I see the materials that I sold are displayed in the luxury brand stores like PRADA and LANVIN and when I see consumers actually buying them.

6. Q6. What is it that you put a lot of effort into in your personal life?

   Because I started to live alone since last November due to a job transfer, I am interested in bath related goods and interiors. Also, my hobby has been to play the piano since I was little but because of the transfer, I unfortunately haven’t been able to play it recently.
