PICASUS® is a film that uses Toray’s proprietary nano-layering technology to reproduce the sheen of metal without using any metal. The material is malleable and can be integrated with a plastic molding. PICASUS® provides the same sheen as metal without actually being metal, eliminating the need for plating or painting processes and thereby reducing the environmental burden.
