Since its entry into overseas production in the 1960s, Toray Group is operating globally and currently has business sites in 21 countries and regions including Japan. Especially in fibers & textiles and plastics & chemicals where we have many years of experience in overseas production, we will secure stable earnings through utilizing global operations which network global production sites and promote appropriate location production. In IT-related products business, we are expanding business in Japan and Korea as well as strengthening mutual collaboration, and in carbon fiber composite materials business we are proactively increasing capacity at our three production bases as well as reinforcing mututal collaboration. Toray Group will expand its businesses through market-based global operation.
