7. Expand Businesses Outside Japan

Toray Group's global operations now include 114 companies in 20 countries and regions including Japan. In this area, we are focused on advancing business structure reform and strengthening our profit base, as well as further growing our business by developing new businesses. NT-II also aims to further broaden our business and increase revenues and profits in the ASEAN countries and China as well as expand into the high-growth IT-related industry in Korea. This stage of reform will increase profits by reinforcing and reforming our business structure in the U.S.A. and Europe, as well.
