9. Strategic Promotion of the TOREX Brand

In addition to the issues described above, the development of brand strategies is also vital if we are to break through the overproduction prevalent worldwide to expand our revenues and increase our profits. In order to accomplish this, we will develop a global brand strategy to establish TOREX* as the overarching brand that symbolizes Toray's high-quality, superior product grades and advanced materials. Our objective is to grow as a highly profitable business group by building TOREX* into a strong market player, a prestige brand backed by all Toray management resources across the board.
