In 1964, SILLOOK* ushered in an era of silky-touch synthetic fibers. Since its launch, Toray has developed an extensive range of SILLOOK* products employed in woven and knitted fabrics, all gaining high marks in applications such as women's traditional Japanese kimonos and Western-style apparel, and linings. SILLOOK ROYAL*S, SILLOOK*SLIDEW*, and SILLOOK*CHATELAINE* all played a major role as pioneers of the Shingosen boom.
