TOYOFLON™ is a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) fiber that offers the highest level of tribological properties, heat resistance, chemical resistance, and mold releasability among synthetic fibers. Using our company's exclusive production process, we can now provide round cross-section PTFE fibers of uniform fineness with no variation. To handle the assorted needs of our customers, Toray can provide a wide variety of product styles in addition to fibers, including knitted/woven goods and felt. TOYOFLON™'s low-friction properties help eliminate the need for oiling and maintenance on bearings and other sliding parts.
