CIT Makes Donation for a Nursing Care Service Vehicle

While the COVID-19 pandemic continues to develop, CMA’s focus on health and safety remains constant. CMA has kept the safety of employees and their families as top priority through newly adapted procedures and additional personal protective equipment (PPE).

On September 17, 2020, CIT representatives attended a ceremony to introduce a nursing care service vehicle for transporting frail people in the Legnano area, where CIT is located, realized thanks to donations from 22 main local companies.

Given the COVID-19 protocols, the ceremony was organized in the courtyard of Palazzo Malinverni, the Legnano town hall. CIT has been participating in these programs since 2017 as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities, and this is the second contribution the company is making to sustain local voluntary organizations.

CIT’s contribution supported the initiative of the "We with you" project promoted by Auser (Associazione per l’invecchiamento attivo) and Legnano, aimed at providing nursing care service vehicle to help frail people in their daily lives.

Auser is a voluntary and social promotion association, committed to promoting active ageing of the elderly and enhancing their role in society. Especially during this difficult pandemic emergency caused by COVID-19, Auser puts in a lot of effort with local volunteers to support frail people.

CIT considers itself as part of the local community and intends to contribute to social responsibility initiatives that give the community the ability to provide valuable support.
