Tokyo, Japan, September 30, 2022 – Toray Industries, Inc., will exhibit at K 2022, the world’s leading plastics and rubber trade fair, in Düsseldorf, Germany, from October 19 to 26, 2022. The company is participating for the fifth consecutive time in this event, which is every three years. Toray will showcase plastics and other advanced materials for next-generation automobiles and highlight its environmental and sustainable materials initiatives.

Toray’s booth will present TORELINA

™ high-performance film. It will feature examples of applications for advanced materials, including TOYOLAC
™ acrylonitrile butadiene styrene resin grades for medical equipment applications, carbon fiber composites, PPS resin for 3D printers, PA resin powder, and PPS film.
At the fair, Toray will underscore its contributions to a circular economy as part of its environmental and sustainability initiatives by highlighting its ECOUSE
™ brand for mechanical and chemical recycling and its biomass-derived polymer materials efforts. The booth will exhibit a new digital service that draws on empirical data and leverages artificial intelligence and materials informatics technology to predict physical property data for resin products. Toray will help materialize a sustainable economy by offering optimal solutions in keeping with its commitment to innovating ideas, technologies, and products that deliver new value.
