Toray Industries Announces Reinstatement of Certification under the ISO9001 International Standard for Quality Management Systems

Tokyo, Japan, November 1, 2022 – Toray Industries, Inc., today announced that the company had received notification from the Japan Quality Assurance Organization (JQA), which is a registered certification body of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), that the ISO9001:2015¹ certification of certain activities at its Nagoya Plant that was suspended on July 12, 2022, was reinstated on October 28, 2022, as a result of a special audit conducted by JQA on October 5 and 6, 2022.

Toray will continue to make every effort to reacquire the certification for other activities that was withdrawn on July 12, 2022, at its Nagoya Plant and Chiba Plant at the earliest possible date.
