Toray will be in booth number W2B02 in the Japan pavilion, and TSD will be in E5D10 inside the China pavilion.
Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics is an exhibition of textiles for apparels, and is the world’s largest such exhibition both in terms of number of exhibitors and the number of visitors it attracts. It was first held in 1995 and this year is the 20th edition.
Toray and TSD will be taking part in this year’s exhibition under the common theme of “TECHNOLOGY IS ECOLOGY,” and the companies will propose environmentally friendly apparel materials that are highly functional and sensitive at the same time.
Toray will exhibit plant-derived fashion materials, highly functional materials with superior water absorption, quick-drying, stretch, heat-retention, highly durable and light-weight properties as well as artificial leather with increased varieties achieved by adding surface finishing and prints. The company will introduce high quality, made-in-Japan, apparel materials that are developed and produced by Toray in Japan.
Under the theme “TORAY LIFE STYLE,” TSD will display highly functional materials with windbreak and anti-see-through properties for various applications such as women’s, men’s and children’s clothes and various daily life applications such as fashion, outdoor sports and uniforms, as well as highly sensitive materials with superior color expression. The exhibition booth will showcase a large number of product samples using materials produced by TSD to introduce its wide variety of materials through the product images.
