On March 9, 2018, the 24th TTSF Presentation Ceremony was held with numerous guests and involved persons in attendance including the Privy Councillor His Excellency General Surayud Chulanont, His Excellency Mr. Shiro Sadoshima, Japanese Ambassador to Thailand, as well as Toray Industries, Inc. President Akihiro Nikkaku, who is TTSF Honorary Chairman, Executive Vice President Kazushi Hashimoto and Senior Vice President Akira Umeda from Toray.
n the presentation ceremony, two Science and Technology Awards, 20 Science and Technology Research Grants and 12 Science Education Awards were presented to the winners. Nikkaku, in his address, said that Toray would continue to support the promotion of science and technology in Thailand through the foundation’s activities and contribute to the friendship and goodwill between Thailand and Japan and the development of Thailand’s economy.
