Toray Industries, Inc. (headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Akihiro Nikkaku; hereinafter referred to as "Toray") had announced, in its press releases titled "Toray to Purchase TenCate Advanced Composites Holding B.V." issued on March 15, 2018 and "Toray Signs Share Purchase Agreement for Purchase of Shares in TenCate Advanced Composites Holding B.V." issued on July 9, 2018, that it had reached an agreement with Koninklijke Ten Cate B.V. (headquarters: Netherlands) to purchase the entire share of its subsidiary TenCate Advanced Composites Holding B.V. (headquarters: Netherlands, a Dutch carbon fiber composite material manufacturer). Toray today announced that it completed all the procedures related to the said share purchase on July 17, 2018.
Toray is currently in the process of verifying the impact of the share purchase on its consolidated business performance. The company plans to announce it swiftly if any matter requiring disclosure arises.
