The 35th Toray Pan Pacific Open Tennis Tournament (executive committee headquartered in Tokyo’s Minato ward and led by tournament director Yutaka Nakagawa), the largest international women’s tennis tournament in Japan, will be held at the Arena Tachikawa Tachihi in Tachikawa, Tokyo, from Saturday, September 15 to Sunday, September 23, 2018. Three of the world's top-ten ranked players have announced that they will participate in the tournament: world ranking No. 6 Caroline Garcia (24 years old, France), No. 7 Garbiñe Muguruza (24 years old, Spain), and No. 9 Karolína Plíšková (26 years old, Czech Republic).
CoCo Vandeweghe (No.19, 26 years old, USA) has also announced her participation, in addition to Naomi Osaka, who made her announcement the other day. The world's top athletes by ranking and by talent, including former world No. 1 athletes Garbiñe Muguruza and Karolína Plíšková, will come together at the 2018 Toray PPO Tennis Tournament. Every year, the world's top players assemble at this tournament, attracting a high degree of interest and attention from tennis fans worldwide.
