On March 24, 2018, 23 volunteers from CMTH organized a corporate social responsibility (CSR) activity of planting seedlings for the preservation of the mangrove forest in Ban Laem Chabang in Chonburi Province, situated in the eastern part of Thailand.
The activity is held by the city of Ban Laem Chabang, and CMTH has continuously cooperated in carrying out the planting activity for the past three years. It was the third time for us to do this and this time, we planted a total of 1,000 seedlings in four hours. In addition, we also built a resting area for visitors to relax and enable them to learn about mangrove forest.
About 1,000 seedlings will be distributed by the city to various organizations to be planted in other mangrove forests. This activity will benefit the nature as it encourages the growing of various species of both plants and animals, and we are proud to be playing a role in preserving nature.
