July 29, 2019, Tokyo – Toray Industries, Inc., will sponsor the Japanese Pavilion at Expo 2020 in Dubai, which opens on October 20, 2020, and running through April 10, 2021.
The company will supply uniforms employing its advanced fabrics to help attendants comfortably and efficiently deliver world-class Japanese hospitality.
A total of 192 nations have committed to participating in this exposition, whose theme is Connecting Minds, Creating the Future. The event will attract an estimated 25 million expected visitors. The Japan Pavilion will take the initiative in presenting solutions to global issues. This focus is in keeping with Toray’s sustainability vision, rolled out in July 2018, of delivering on its mission. This is to provide innovative technologies and advanced materials that provide real solutions to the international community’s myriad challenges.
