TPCH and TPSZ won the Best Supplier Award at the Fiscal Year 2019 Vendor Meeting of Sumitomo Wiring Systems, Ltd. Group in Guangdong Province, South China, held on May 29, 2019.
Sumitomo Wiring Systems Group has global business transactions with Toray Group companies that belong to Toray Industries, Inc.’s Resins Division, primarily in applications related to the wire harness connectors installed in automobiles. SEWS Components (Huizhou), Limited, a manufacturing company that is part of the group and located in South China, is the biggest customer for TPCH and TPSZ, and the companies were chosen for the best supplier award from a total of 70 companies in recognition of their zero product quality complaints, zero delivery delays and their ability in proposing new developments. TPCH and TPSZ have won the Outstanding Supplier Award in the past from the company, but this was the first time for the companies to win the Best Supplier Award. The ceremony was attended by Managing Director Yasutoshi Tsukamoto, Automotive Products Dept. Deputy General Manager Jun Hiraga, Huang ZhongHuan, who is in charge of sales in the same department, from TPCH, and TPSZ Managing Director Tomonori Chiba. TPCH’s Tsukamoto received the award from President Hidetaka Matsunaga of SEWS Components.
The business transactions with the company are expected to grow further in the future reflecting the growing automobile market in China. Manufacturing, technology and marketing & sales of TPCH and TPSZ will work together to maintain stable quality and to maximize the adoption of highly functional engineering plastics.
