TAK received the Trade, Industry and Energy Minister’s Prize at the commendation ceremony of Republic of Korea Energy Environment Technology Awards held on May 24, 2019.
TAK has been promoting various energy-saving activities, along with activities to improve awareness of staff members, as part of measure to respond to global climate changes. The company received the award in recognition of its endeavors such as setting voluntary energy reduction goals every year and efforts toward energy conservation and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions through excavation and implementation of improvement themes.
At the commendation ceremony, Kim Hyuncheol, managing director in charge of power, received the prize on behalf of the company. “TAK will continue to contribute to development of the country’s economy through energy innovation and make efforts as a materials company that leads the response to climate changes,” said Kim.
