On August 29, 2019, TPPZ invited 21 children of its employees for the first time to the company and held a tour.
This event was aimed at having the children see their parents at work and feel the importance of the work and providing them with an opportunity to learn about the company. It was filled with contents such as introduction of the company, plant tour, a simple quiz session, writing a letter of appreciation to their parents, and lunch at the cafeteria. The local administration also rated it highly as significant for education of the next generation, and sponsored mementos.
The participating children toured the plant with great interest and showered the employees with questions. The impressions the children had after the tour included “TPPZ makes things like this!” “My parents are working hard,” and “I want to study hard to become an engineer, too.”
The employees who received letters written by their children were moved and were happy that the tour provided a great opportunity to deepen understanding of the children. TPPZ will continue to maintain wide-ranged communications with employees through various activities.
