TID purchased an industrial plot in Sri City, an integrated business city in Andhra Pradesh State located in south India, in 2017 to capture the demand in the country, which is experiencing rapid economic growth. We had inaugurated an administrative office and the resin compound production process kickoff was completed in April 2019.
As part of our CSR initiatives, we took part in an activity of Sri City Japanese Companies Group (SJCG) donating 42 desk-cum-bench sets worth 0.2 million rupees to the government primary schools in the cities of Matherimitta, Cherivi and Irugulam, located near Sri City.
The function was held at the school premises in Matherimitta on 24 October 2019. Handing over the desks to the head masters of the respective schools, Chairman of SJCG said that we are donating classroom desks to the schools in the vicinity for the third consecutive year as part of our CSR initiative. The education officer of Andra Pradesh appreciated SJCG for their helping hand to the schools in the neighborhood. This year, around 300 students aged between 6 and 15 years old will benefit from this donation.
TID will continue to strive towards development of local communities and demonstrate our commitment towards social contribution activities.
