On November 16, 2019, the Sales Division of TSD held a social gathering for female representative employees, the second such gathering following last year. A total of 17 female representative employees including four new employees together with the managerial staff of the division led by Executive Vice President Hiroshi Yamada, who is also the General Manager of Sales Division, participated in the event which was held in a lively atmosphere.
At the gathering, the participants not only discussed job-related problems and worries but also came up with ideas for solving the problems. The participants are keenly interested in the company’s performance and they also made proposals regarding the development of the company as they did their best in thinking up what they can do to grow sales amid the slump in the overall market. Yamada told the participants that he would like to enhance the care for female employees who are pregnant or breast feeding and young employees who are working away from their parents’ home and make efforts to create a warm and employee-friendly workplace as well as private environments.
The gathering offers an opportunity for employees from different generations to sit together and interact genuinely over a meal, and it also is a meaningful occasion for the company to learn about the work and life of the employees as well as their ideas and expectations for the company’s development. We believe that employees’ loyalty to the company would increase through such activities, which will eventually lead to the development of the company.
