Toray Launches Japanese Patterned Toraysee Reversible Cleaning Cloths and Instagram Account

　Tokyo, Japan, March 16, 2020 – Toray Industries, Inc., announced today that it will launch the Toraysee® Japanese Patterned Reversible Cleaning Cloths from early April. Available in six patterns, the 24cm x 24cm microfiber items will retail at eyewear and Toray shops around Japan for 800 yen, plus consumption tax. The stylish designs feature in-trend Japanese patterns on the front and plain backs. This is the second offering in the Toraysee reversible cleaning cloth line, which proved an instant hit upon its introduction in 2019. The design incorporates casually arranged “JAPAN” lettering.

This stylish ,versatile reversible cleaning cloths are universal favorites of all people without distinction of age or gender.

　Toray debuted the Toraysee brand in 1987. The innovative cloths employ 100% polyester microfibers with diameters of just two microns, or around 1/1,600th the diameter of a human hair. Gaps between the fibers are invisible to the naked eye and draw dirt into them to deftly remove sebum from eyewear lenses and smartphone and other touch panels without scratching them. Conventional cloths cannot match these capabilities. The cloths can also clean accessories, watches, CDs, mirrors, and other items. They can be washed numerous times for repeated use. Toray will continue to develop high-value-added merchandise for the Toraysee series in the years ahead.
