Toray Industries (H.K.) Ltd. (THK) Vietnam Representative Office

On June 14 and 30, 2021, THK Vietnam Representative Office, along with Uniqlo Vietnam Co., Ltd., donated AIRism innerwear, jointly developed by Toray Industries, Inc. and Uniqlo Co., Ltd., and worth about 4,000 US dollars, to Nam Dinh University of Nursing located in Nam Dinh in Vietnam’s northern region.

The delegation of the teachers and students from the university has been engaged in volunteer healthcare activities aimed at preventing the spread of COVID-19 in regions within Vietnam where the pandemic is spreading. THK Vietnam Representative Office and Uniqlo Vietnam decided to donate AIRism products on the hope that it would help the healthcare professionals, working in intensely hot conditions, to carry out their activities in some level of comfort. During our visit to the university to make the donation and hearing from the vice rector, and the faculty and students who returned from the affected regions about the exceptional activities being carried out, we were deeply impressed by the committed perseverance of the youngsters, who were being dispatched to the most affected sites in groups of 50.

We are delighted that our AIRism products, which are being manufactured in Vietnam, are being worn comfortably and appreciated by medical teams at the forefront.
