TRMX and other Toray Group companies in Mexico have decided to collaborate with the civil association Vamos Guerreros (meaning “Let's Go Warriors” in English), which is a nonprofit organization formed by collaborating volunteers whose objective is to reduce the effects caused by cancer and improving the lives of children and young people. Among its projects is the collection of plastic caps, which are then recycled and sold to obtain resources, such as medicines, treatments, and cleaning supplies, to support the needs of children and young people with cancer.

TRMX started this initiative, an environmental activity based on ISO 14001, on February 11, 2022, and installed a heart-shaped container in the access corridor to collect the caps of plastic bottles. The activity was carried out in collaboration with other Toray Group companies in Mexico and it encouraged us to contribute to the environment and to support children and young people who suffer from cancer. Normally, caps are thrown in the trash, but now they are deposited in the container and sold to a company that recycles them into plastic containers. The container has a capacity of approximately 90 kilograms, and at the end of March, it was almost full.
