Toray Resin Mexico, S.A. de C.V. (TRMX)
The Administration of Environment and Water Culture of the Municipality of El Salto, Mexico, invited Toray Group companies in Mexico to participate in an environmental fair, whose theme was water care, on March 23, 2022.
TRMX attended this fair on behalf of the Toray Group companies in Mexico. At the fair, the local elementary school students gave a presentation on their environmental activities. All the students seemed to be excited and interested in carrying out those good environmental practices at home and sharing them with their families.
TRMX was also given the opportunity to make a presentation, so we gave a presentation on the environmental activities of the Toray Group, including desalination of seawater in the water treatment business and CO2 reduction in the carbon fiber business.
We took advantage of this opportunity to sensitize the children and raise their awareness of caring for water as a vital resource for the development of life through reflections, questions and play.
The students were also motivated to carry out the good practices at their homes, such as taking care not to waste water when brushing teeth, bathing, washing their car, watering plants, and reporting in case of finding a leak, and transmitting them to their parents, so that we take care of this valuable resource together as a community, company, and family.
