Iga Swiatek (age 22 / Poland / world ranking No.1), declared to the Toray Pan Pacific Open Tennis Executive Committee (headquartered in Tokyo’s Minato ward and led by Tournament Director Yutaka NAKAGAWA), her intention to participate in this year’s tournament scheduled to be held from Saturday, September 23 to Sunday, October 1.

Iga Swiatek won her first Grand Slam title at the French Open when she was 19 years old in October 2020. In 2022, she won both the French Open, for the third time in two consecutive years, and the US Open, and with the four Grand Slams, she became world number one at the age of 22. This will be her first time to compete in the Toray Pan Pacific Open Tennis—a great chance for all tennis fans in Japan to watch the versatile and speedy play.

Starting August 9 through 18, the tournament is offering a limited number of VIP hospitality Package which included a backyard tour, gifts, meal, and parking space.
